Hacking Time: How to Speed Up Game Clocks on Your Android Device for Faster Farming

How to Speed Up Game Clocks on Your Android Device for Faster Farming

So, you've finally managed to get addicted to one of those free farming games, like Farm Story or Tiny Village. You play the game nonstop now, and the only thing stopping you is that dreaded on-screen notice to come back in 23 hours to finish farming or building. Come back in 23 hours… WHAT?!?

Most of these free games will start charging you at this point. Time becomes a luxury. Well, not anymore, thanks to XDA Developer StupidIdea, who made a time-tricking app called GMD Speed Time (that's totally not a stupid idea).

GMD Speed Time speeds up your Android device's internal clock in order to bypass any game scenarios that use it as a reference.

When the application is loaded, the device's clock will appear incorrectly, but will go back to normal when leaving the application. It even comes with a multitude of speed multipliers, ranging from 2x to 1000x, for your preference. Watch the app in action below.

Note: GMD Speed Time only works with rooted Android devices and may slow down your device, and some games may be able to sniff out your time-hacking techniques, which may result in a ban.

StupidIdea claims it works on all games he tested. It obviously works on Tiny Village, and someone else had success with Fantasy Town, but some have mentioned it does not work with My Little Pony, Little Empire, or DragonVale. Feel free to tell us which games worked for you in the comments below.
